Course Overview:
This Concealed Carry Permit course is for students who want more than the minimum. This is not a one or two hour basic pistol class. It challenges both new and experienced shooters to meet Florida’s requirements with knowledge and confidence. Topics include handgun basics, Florida specific laws, situational awareness, personal protection plans, the legal use of force, interaction with law enforcement, and defensive shooting fundamentals.

What to Wear:
Closed toe shoes
Crew neck or high collar shirts such as a polo or button up
What to Bring:
Note taking materials
Food for the day including breakfast, lunch, snacks, and water
You may eat in the classroom space

Optional: Bring your own firearm with one box of FMJ ammunition
Optional: Bring eye and ear protection
Additional Notes:
Successful completion of the written assessment and/or practical live fire performance as required by curriculum to pass
