1. Overview

Tactical Education & Defense, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “the Company”) is committed to providing exceptional education, training, and defensive products.

This policy outlines our refund, return, and exchange procedures to ensure fairness, clarity, and compliance with company and manufacturer standards.

By enrolling in a course, purchasing a product, or booking an event, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

2. Training Courses and Guest Speaking Events

2.1 All class, training, and guest speaking event sales are final.

There are no refunds once registration and payment are complete for:

Firearm, medical, safety, or security training
Private or group lessons
Certification courses
Guest speaking engagements or seminars

2.2 Deposits: All deposits are non-refundable.

However, if all other conditions in this policy are met, the value of the deposit may be credited toward another course or service within 2 months of the original booking date.

2.3 Verify availability before booking. Once confirmed, cancellations are non-refundable.

2.4 Credits: At the company’s discretion, credits may be issued toward another class or private lesson within 2 months of the original booking date, unless otherwise noted.

2.5 Substitutions: Transferring your registration to another person may be approved with prior notice.

2.6 Rescheduling: Tactical Education & Defense reserves the right to reschedule any class, lesson, or event due to weather, range restrictions, instructor illness, or safety concerns.

3. Minimum Enrollment

3.1 Some courses require a minimum number of participants to proceed.
If the minimum is not met, enrolled students will be offered a seat in the next available session of the same course at no additional cost.

4. Late Transfers, No-Shows, and Rescheduling Notice

4.1 Transfer requests made within 48 hours of a scheduled class or failure to attend (no-show) will be subject to a $25 administrative fee, payable separately and non-refundable.

4.2 Missed courses or events without prior notice will result in forfeiture of payment.

4.3 Rescheduling Notice:

Students who wish to reschedule must provide notice at least 72 hours (3 days) before the scheduled start time.
Requests made after that window are considered late transfers and subject to the $25 administrative fee described above.
Approved reschedules must occur within 2 months of the original booking date unless otherwise authorized in writing by Tactical Education & Defense.

4.4 Reschedule Limitations:
Approved reschedules are limited to two (2) total occurrences per booking.

The first reschedule is complimentary.
The second reschedule incurs a $25 administrative fee.
Additional requests beyond the second reschedule will result in forfeiture of the booking and payment.

5. Late Arrivals

5.1 Students are expected to arrive on time for all classes and range sessions. A 10-minute grace period applies for standard courses and private lessons.

5.2 Students arriving more than 15 minutes late may be denied entry for safety or instructional reasons.
Denial of entry for lateness constitutes a forfeited class or event.
Rescheduling may be approved at the company’s discretion and may incur the $25 administrative fee.

6. Certification Disclaimer

6.1 Enrollment or payment for any certification course does not guarantee certification.
Participants must successfully complete all requirements and meet instructor evaluation standards to earn certification.

7. Add-On Policy (Packaged Extras)

7.1 Certain classes include materials or kits as part of enrollment. Add-ons are distributed only after full completion of the course.

7.2 Failure to complete the class forfeits eligibility to receive add-on materials, without refund or substitution.

7.3 If a transfer is approved, add-ons may transfer once with the student without penalty; subsequent transfers void eligibility.

8. Products and Retail Sales

8.1 All product sales are final. Refunds are not available for retail purchases. Review all product details carefully before checkout.

8.2 Tactical Education & Defense offers exchanges for defective or damaged items only. Requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.

9. Krate Tactical Lifetime Warranty

9.1 All Krate Tactical products sold through Tactical Education & Defense are covered by Krate Tactical’s lifetime warranty per the manufacturer’s terms.

9.2 This warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship for the original purchaser.

9.3 The warranty does not cover misuse, modification, normal wear and tear, use outside the product’s intended purpose, or “torture testing.”

10. Exchanges

10.1 Exchanges are available for eligible products that are defective or damaged upon delivery or fall under a manufacturer’s warranty.

10.2 Customers must submit proof of purchase, clear photos, and a description of the issue to tacticaleducationdefense@gmail.com.

10.3 Items must be returned in original packaging unless otherwise authorized.

11. Non-Returnable Items (Clarification)

11.1 As all product sales are final, the following list serves as clarification of items that are never eligible for refund or exchange:

Ammunition or reloading components
Medical or hygiene-related products
Perishable goods
Digital or downloadable products
Customized, special-order, or opened items

12. Gift Cards

12.1 All gift card sales are final and non-refundable, regardless of whether they have been redeemed.

12.2 Transferability and Shared Use:

Gift cards may be transferred once to another person or account, provided the card has not been fully redeemed.

If a gift card has been partially used, the remaining balance may still be transferred to another authorized user (e.g., a family member) upon written request by the original purchaser.

The transfer will apply only to the remaining balance, and once transferred, the new holder assumes all rights and responsibilities for the balance.

12.3 Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash or applied to prior purchases.

12.4 Physical and eGift Cards:

Both physical and digital (eGift) cards are treated the same in terms of ownership and redemption rights.

Lost, stolen, or misplaced gift cards whether physical or electronic cannot be replaced*, reissued*, or refunded.

Please safeguard all cards as you would cash.

12.5 eGift Card Caveat – Unauthorized Use:
Tactical Education & Defense, LLC is not responsible for any unauthorized use, loss, or access to an eGift Card once it has been delivered electronically to the recipient’s provided email address.

If an eGift Card is accessed or used by an unauthorized party, it will be treated as redeemed and no reimbursement or replacement will be issued.

The purchaser assumes responsibility for ensuring accurate recipient information at the time of purchase.

12.6 Resending an eGift Card:
If a recipient did not receive or accidentally deleted their eGift Card, the purchaser may resend it.

To resend, log into your account, navigate to Gift Card Sales in your dashboard, select the desired card, click Email Gift Card, edit the recipient’s address if needed, and click Send Email.

Alternatively, Tactical Education & Defense may resend the eGift Card directly to the purchaser or to the email address originally provided during checkout, upon verified request and confirmation of purchase.

12.7 Gift cards do not expire except as permitted or required by law.

13. Return Process for Exchanges

13.1 Contact tacticaleducationdefense@gmail.com with proof of purchase and photos before shipping any item.
Do not return items without authorization.

13.2 Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the issue is due to a Tactical Education & Defense or manufacturer error.
Tracking and proof of shipment are recommended.

14. Gift Purchases

14.1 If an item was purchased as a gift and shipped directly to the recipient, a replacement or exchange may be issued once the returned item is verified.

14.2 Gift returns are not eligible for monetary refunds.

15. Policy Acknowledgment

By enrolling in a class, booking an event, paying a deposit, or purchasing a product through Tactical Education & Defense, LLC, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund & Returns Policy.

Tactical Education & Defense reserves the right to modify this policy as needed to maintain compliance with business and manufacturer standards.
