Course Overview:
This session focuses on solving problems under pressure. Students learn how to diagnose and clear handgun malfunctions, maintain control with the support hand or dominant hand only, and apply recoil-management principles in more challenging situations.
You will also work precision standards with one-handed shooting, refining trigger control, grip pressure, and target accountability. This course completes the Defensive Pistol Series and prepares students for advanced defensive courses.
What to Wear:
Range-appropriate clothing
Closed-toe shoes
High-collar shirts
What to Bring:
Eye and ear protection
Handgun
Holster and concealment garment
100–150 rounds of FMJ ammunition
Minimum 2–3 magazines
Snacks/water
Holster made of Kydex or similar stiff material
Additional Notes:
Strong focus on safety during one-handed manipulations
Students must demonstrate control and discipline throughout
