Course Overview:
This course applies defensive shooting skills under dynamic, real-world pressure. You will practice efficient draw strokes, one-handed shooting, malfunction clearing, and decision-making under stress. The drills are designed to develop faster reactions, stronger gun-handling habits, and confident performance in close-contact environments.
What to Wear:
Dress for the weather if class is at an outdoor range
Closed toe shoes
Crew neck or high collar shirts such as a polo or button up
What to Bring:
Note taking materials
Snacks and water
Eye and ear protection
Firearm in a safe case
250 rounds of target ammunition
Range sells ammo if needed
Holster made of Kydex or similar stiff material
Additional Notes:
Expect a combination of dry and live fire drills.
Designed to build on the skills from Beyond the Basics with an emphasis on movement and scenario-based training.
