Course Overview:
A friendly, confidence-building introduction to safe handgun handling and range etiquette. You will learn firearm parts and operation, the four rules of safety, proper grip and stance, sight alignment, and trigger control. This course is ideal for first-time shooters or anyone who wants a clear refresher before Pistol 101.
What to Wear:
Dress for the weather if class is at an outdoor range
Closed toe shoes
Crew neck or high collar shirts such as a polo or button up
What to Bring:
Eye and ear protection
Optional depending on range.
Snacks and water
Handgun if you own one (rentals are available)
25-50 rounds of FMJ ammunition; more is advised if possible.
Ammunition is available for purchase at the range.
If renting, ammo is $25 per box.
1–2 magazines
Additional Notes:
Includes dry practice; optional live fire may be offered at the end based on range and class needs.

If you’ve already taken our Concealed Carry class, you’ve covered much of this and more but you’re still welcome to attend as a refresher or to get in extra range practice.
