Accuracy Control and Confidence

Prerequisite: N/A (Intro to Handgun, highly recommended but is not required)

Course Overview:

Accuracy, control, and confidence. This class focuses on building your accuracy, refining your control, and boosting your confidence through proper grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, and recoil management. Whether you are brand new or looking for a solid refresher, this is the foundation that sets you up for future defensive or advanced training.



What to Wear:

  • Dress for the weather if class is at an outdoor range

  • Closed toe shoes

  • Crew neck or high collar shirts such as a polo or button up

What to Bring:

  • Eye and ear protection

  • Snacks and water or other means of rehydrating (quick, easy to eat brain-fueling snacks recommended)

  • Handgun if you own one (rentals are available)

  • 50 rounds of FMJ ammunition; more is advised if possible.

    • Ammunition is available for purchase at the range.

      • If renting, ammo is $25 per box.

  • 1–2 magazines

Additional Notes:

  • Not all ranges rent firearms.

  • This event may involve participant rotation through drills and stations.

  • Unless otherwise noted, range fees are not included
